Sphere Sculpture

This week I will be going into the studio to paint a Sphere Sculpture with our Polished Concrete Effect. The very talented painter and integral member of the Lump family, Daniel Truscott has prepared the base for me so as to make my work a little faster. Chris and I have known Dan since we were teenagers and he is a very, very talented painter indeed, you can check out some of his work here.  The original Sphere Sculpture was made in Corten Steel with a natural rusted finish but, the very first Sphere Sculpture finished in the Polished Concrete Effect was made for Mark Bowning's medal winning garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.  The Polished Concrete Effect blended perfectly with the grey blue tones of the blue stone used in the hard landscaping of Marks Design. Needless to say, I am very much looking forward to getting back into the studio for some painting fun!
