Introducing the Organic Cube pendant light
Last week I posted "a little day in the life of Lump". That day we were working on something that we thought was going to be pretty delicate and unique. And I think it turned out that way, but then again I am considerably partial to organic and ephemeral looking objects that are seemingly in their final stages but are made of steel, so actually far from it.
Introducing the Organic Cube pendant light. I guess you could say that this piece is an extension of the Lump Ephemeral Pendant light and Lump Leaf Skeleton design. The Organic Cube infuses our signature style of organic repetition and lightness.
The Organic Cube is incredibly delicate in pattern with the edges of the cube finished with a natural unevenness for a frayed, organic appearance, in contrast it is considerably structured in its form and its function.
I know that I love this piece and I love it scaled up to large and in multiples for the repetition of that ever so delicate pattern, texture and shadow. But you be the judge, does the delicate do it for you?
